Law studies at Ludwig-Maximillians-University in Munich and at Victoria University in Wellington (New Zealand) and legal clerkship at Higher Regional Court of Munich

Since 2008 admitted as attorney, Marc Sälzer has worked for HAARMANN Partnerschaftsgesellschaft and Shearman & Sterling LL.P. as associated attorney for several years. In 2013, Marc Sälzer was founding partner of Stockum & Partner mbB in Frankfurt.

Mr. Marc Sälzer has joined MOOG Partnerschaftsgesellschaft mbB as partner in 2019.

Marc Sälzer advises German and foreign corporations as well as wealthy private clients in all areas of German tax law, especially in respect of purchase/sale of companies and cross border transactions. His expertise covers all aspects of national and international tax law from German perspective. This incorporates both representation by the German fiscal authorities (especially in regard to audits and tax rulings) and representation at the German financial courts. Marc Sälzer advises also clients on law regarding fiscal offences (excluding legal representation at the criminal court).

In addition, Marc Sälzer is author of many publications regarding tax law and was also lecturer at the legal clerkship training of the Higher Regional Court of Munich for several years.
